An Indian once said; "when the sun comes up in the morning it will be the most important event of the day". I thought on that and agreed that everything does flow from the regular and relentless return of the morning sun. So good morning people!
You and I are more fortunate than most. We see the world through a lens of plenty. We are, unfortunately, a precious few. The world-wide gap between rich and poor has become obscene. The rich, that is you and I, get richer - while the poor people die . . . of starvation, lack of water, incompetent governments, and inadequate health care. Each year millions of human beings die . . . and we let them. Why? It's disgusting.
We (the rich) have the wealth, resources and technology to eliminate early and unnatural death on planet earth.
You say; "we are not rich and can't afford to help those in need". May I submit that if you have enough to eat, clothes to wear, a roof over your head, and fresh water to drink . . . you are WEALTHY beyond measure compared to someone who has none of these".
